Superior Lager Yeast seems to work really nice, this was one of my best starters. 8oz DME, 1 tsp fermax, 1200ml, rehydrated for 15 min in 37 degree celsius water, pitched when both were 68 degrees farenheit, and it was taking off great within hours...
